Rhythmic gadget
I unexceptionally love this thing.Having recently moved out on my own, and generally just enjoying statistics in run-of-the-mill, I bought this to monitor my electric costs after two high electric bills in a row. The various results I found were degree surprising.My air purifier, which I bought here on Amazon, uses 85 watts all the time... 85 * 24 hrs * 30 existence / 1000 watts = 61.2kWhr * $0.20 = $12.24 a month.Well, that's quite a costly monthly supplement I never thought of. Smashing Product!
I certainly love this product, it's one of the best devices I've aquired in a long time. When I purchased it a few years ago, I paid end to $50, but it was worth every penny. Some of my joy from using the device simply comes from the fact that I'm prying how much energy the products in my home use (I now know, for instance, that my cable box uses 15W of energy whether it is on or off, at that it wastes a microscopic more than 10 kilowatt hours each month, or that my fridge uses 350W when on, or that my laptop only uses 40W - a useful the score to know when I went to buy an inverter to use it in my car), but it can also be used to save energy (I found that hitting the switch on the up supressors of my computers at night can save me almost $5 a month off my electric bill). Plus, it's interesting to find out where all the power you use goes, and even what members of the family use the most electricity (you could do a side by side comparason of a child's computer with yours)...

I was astonished at some of the things I found around the house that draw power just sitting there doing nothing. This thing is easygoing to figure out and program in your cost per Kwh.A couple of things I found by using this device:-- the extravaganza center costs me $11 a year to have just sit there in standby mode. P4460 is skilful for electical circuits that loose power.
I currently own two Administer the coup de gr-a-Watt P4460 meters. This usage meter has a memory hold over, so I can use these at circuits that are switched on and off. When the entering electricity is shut off, the previous hours of use are kept in memory. When the electricity is turned back on, the meter will remain from where it left off. The older P4400 model does not have this hold over circuit. The P4460 is a fantabulous addition to the P4400 for studying home electical usage.

From the start seemed great, but switch is poor quality
We bought two of these to use for the computer and trade room. We wanted a way to turn off the power drain when items were not in use. The remote capability of this segment seemed like just what we were looking for. The first one we bought initially seemed fine and so we bought the second one. Distant broke after 2 weeks
I was looking for something I could Nautical bend to my entertainment system, cable modem and wifi router and easily power all off to save power when not in use when I'm at trade/sleeping/out of town and turn back on when I was home. I liked this product when I first got it, it did what it said it would do and the remote worked from anywhere in my condo.However, 2 weeks in the unrelated would no longer send the signal to turn the unit off. I could manually turn it off and turn it back on with the ancient, but that was it. I recently moved into a put up (3 Bedroom) and I just received my first electric bill covering a span of 25 existence. It says I used 9325 Kilowatt hours! The only possibility I can think of for this usage is my refrigerator. However, I only used it 9

You are talking about 10 bucks a month to run the refrigerator. You can shorten your cost by cleaning your coils which are located under the cooling compartment or in the back. I urge you to do so because you will redeem money and use less power.
